Garden Escapes
The term "escapes" amuses me greatly, to think that something as static as a plant can 'escape' I find humorous, but, if you look into Plant Vegetative Strategies you find that plants are surprisingly motile, at least in terms of generational migration.
Anyway, I very much doubt these are native Scottish plants, and I am always delighted to find these unusual examples.
There are only a few here as this is a new page for me, I had not thought to photograph these specifically, and often avoid photographing things I don't believe are truly wild, but today I decided they perhaps deserve a place of their own.
The two stars starting off this page are a beautifully scented Lilly and a lovely blue Columbine.
